What happens after you call

We ask for the vehicle and which glass is broken. Year, make, model, and whether there is a camera behind the mirror is usually enough to price it on the phone.
A time gets booked at the house or at work, so you do not need to take the day off. A windshield fitting usually takes about 90 minutes, and the camera recalibration can often happen in the same visit.
Get the price in writing before work starts, with calibration included if your car needs it. If the chip can be repaired instead of replaced, that is the cheaper job and usually the better one.

None of this is required, and it all makes the quote faster and more accurate.

Whether there is a camera or sensor mounted behind the mirror. That decides whether the glass needs recalibrating afterward.
Which glass is broken, and whether the damage is a chip or a crack. A chip smaller than a quarter can usually be repaired instead.
Photos, if you have them. Close enough to see the damage clearly.
